Wool is an active fiber that insulates heat through tiny air pockets in the yarn, helping to keep you warm but not hot or sweaty. When your body temperature rises, the wool fibers in our Superfines fabric wick moisture away from your skin and move it to the surface of the garment where it can evaporate, helping you stay feeling comfortable and dry. Merino wool comes from the oldest breed of sheep recorded in history, originating from Spain. It is five times thinner than human hair and as thin as cashmere and contains naturally occurring lanolin and keratin which are both antimicrobial and help prevent odor build up over time.
